Shari L. Hyder DMD, MAGD
Shari L. Hyder DMD, MAGD graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1986 after studying at Douglass College, Rutgers University. She pursued her post-graduate training by completing a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, NY from 1986-1987. After working an additional year in New York, she returned to the New Jersey area where she had grown up. She joined a practice in Cinnaminson before branching out on her own in Oaklyn, NJ July 1992. She continually stays on the cutting edge of dentistry by taking both classroom and “hands-on” dental courses. She completed enough credits to be recognized by the Academy of General Dentistry in 2005, earning a Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry. Even to the current day she remains active in the Academy of General Dentistry as a representative both on the state and national level, shaping the future of dentistry. While practicing in Oaklyn, she has been treating her neighbors and her neighbor's neighbors in towns such as Collingswood, Haddon Heights, Haddon Township, Audubon, and Haddonfield as if each person was a member of her own family. That is what makes Dr. Hyder stand out! She takes her time to make sure that her patients understand their treatment options and answer everyone's questions. She is gentle of touch and goes out of her way to make sure you are always at ease.
Dr. Hyder has been married since 1986 and has three adult daughters.
Patty is our chairside assistant. She keeps the doctor and the operatories running smoothly. She has been in the dental field for numerous years and is an incredible addition to our staff. She is upbeat and exciting to be around and will make you feel so special. Come meet her and enjoy her joyous infectious personality!
Ronnie handles the front desk on Fridays and Saturdays. She is able to answer many insurance questions and will assist you in getting your answers! Donna hails from a large family and loves her family and friends.
Lisa has returned to the office to handle the front desk and insurance on Monday's and Tuesday's! We are so happy to have her back! She lives in Oaklyn and has 2 adult children and 3 fur babies. She is a HUGE Phillies, Eagles and Flyers fan!
Dana is our Friday hygienist. She is a skilled artist in maintaining your beautiful clean smile for over 30 yrs! . Dana helps with our periodontal patients and performs the scaling and root planing necessary to keep those deep dental pockets clean. In addition, Dana performs the regular cleanings that our patients love. She will keep you entertained your entire visit and remember to ask about her "Fur-Baby, Angel"!!
Judy is one of Saturday hygienists. She has been practicing for over 20 yrs! She recently joined the office and we are thrilled to have her. Judy enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike and her adorable goldendoodle, Piper.
Valene "Val" is our dental hygienist on Tuesday and some Saturday's. She has been practicing for over 14 years.She is known for being very spunky, upeat, and very entertaining. Our patients are so happy to have met her! After traveling the world with her father being in the military, she has a way of making each patient feel special. She enjoys spending time with her two fur babies, Michael and Zoe and crafting.
